• Pietra da Cantone & Infernot. 20 million years ago this area of Monferrato was covered by the sea which resulted in the marly sandstone rock called pietra da cantoni which now characterizes the hills. An infernot, UNESCO heritage site since 2014, is an underground cavity located under dwellings. They were dug by hand into the sandstone and thanks to their origin the temperature and humidity is kept constant all year. Visit to the eco museum of Pietra da Cantoni and its infernot, to the ancient quarries, and meet a craftsman who makes furnishing objects, panels and decorations with the stone of
Monferrato (Cella Monte)
• Truffle hunt (Day and Night): hike in the woods with our expert truffle hunter and his dog in search of the precious king of the table. Truffle hunting and extraction is now inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage to emphasize the value of this traditional practice and its role for the protection of the environment and biodiversity. Top experience night time truffle hunt with cooking class and tasting of a truffle-based dish.

• Hot-air balloon flight in Monferrato. The hot-air balloon flight will enable you to discover the magnificent area of Monferrato with a sea of hills, crowned by woods and vineyards and dotted by villages, wineries and castles, all from the unique and magical perspective of the sky. You will see the inflation of the balloon and in a very short time you will be floating transported by the wind in total safety.
The experience will end with a hearty breakfast or aperitivo in an agriturismo of the area depending on the season (Tonco).
• Tamburello Experience. Tradition in Monferrato is encapsulated in the game of tamburello a muro, or tambass, in Piedmontese: the matches played in the 'sferisteri', the squares under the walls, make this specialty a one-off opportunity to discover the history and art of this area. The tambass is not just a game, but also a celebration which many villages share, a match is played with ancient proud gestures, full of unmistakable sounds. Under the guidance of expert players you will take part in a lesson on the rules and use of the tamburello, the tricks for hitting the ball and throwing it away as far as possible, as you hold your breath and look towards the sky (Vignale Monferrato).
• On the Oil road. The rich cultivation of olive trees in Monferrato was abandoned in 1400 in favor of vines. After more than 600 years production has returned thanks to a favorable climate and a high quality product to the extent that the small village of Olivola has been awarded the title of Città dell'olio, the first in Piedmont! A tour by own means or e-bike to meet the families who have brought back this thousand-year long cultivation to alternate with the vineyards between Olivola Ponzano M.to Moncalvo and Alfiano Natta (Olivola).
• Quad bike excursion in the hills. An exciting adventure by quad to discover Monferrato, travelling on unpaved roads among vineyards, woods and hazelnut groves. The seasons make the routes ever different, the same route traveled in autumn could seem totally different as spring approaches. The colors create the setting, making each experience unique. Stop for an aperitivo along the way (Vignale Monferrato).
• Nature Academy. At an agriturismo, among rows of lavender and medicinal herbs, choose one of the workshops to rediscover sustainable gestures and reconnect with nature: the secrets of the ancient roses, the magic of herbs, the workshop for handmade jams and preserves, soaps and perfumes. Immerse yourself in nature for a day and enjoy lunch made with the products of the vegetable garden (Alfiano Natta).
• Wine SPA and Wine therapy A relaxing and wellness experience taking advantage of the properties of grapes and the polyphenols contained in the skins. The ancient fermentation cellars have been converted into a SPA which offers a relaxing and anti-age bath immersed in wine in a barrique with water massage. Lunch/dinner for two people included (Camino).
• Top cooking class. A fun cooking experience under the attentive guidance of a multi-award winning chef who will reveal the secrets of every dish and each ingredient. And once the "commis" chef apron is off, you will taste the dishes prepared (2 courses + dessert /drinks excluded - minimum of 4 people) (Olivola).
• Casale Monferrato and Krumiri. Guided tour of Casale Monferrato, the ancient capital of the marquisate. Walk through the historic centre and discover the Paleologi Castle, the Cathedral of Sant' Evasio, Church of San Domenico and the magnificent Synagogue: built in 1595 it is an extraordinary example of Piedmontese Baroque synagogue with stucco, gold and precious wooden furnishings in contrast to the external facade without reliefs as imposed by the Albertine Statute. It is considered one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe and is home to a Museum of Silverware and a Museum of Lights. Stop off at a pastry shop to discover (and taste) the famous Krumiri biscuits (Casale M.to)
• Big Bench e-bike tour. The colorful big benches positioned in scenic locations become the stop-off points along a fun e-bike tour to visit the small villages of Monferrato where time has stood still. During the tour, visit a hazelnut farm to discover the IGP Piedmont hazelnut and enjoy an aperitivo on the terrace close to big bench #48 of Sala Monferrato (Cuccaro - Lu - Sala Monferrato).
• Small museums, great stories. Guided tour to discover extraordinary men, sailors and explorers born in Monferrato or who lived here weaving an important bond with these hills. Villa Vidua in Conzano with its stories and finds of the travels of the explorer Carlo Vidua, one of the most important adventurers of the 19th century. The Christopher Columbus Museum in Lu Monferrato created by the Christopher Columbus Studies Centre of Monferrato: what if Christopher Columbus was born here? And then the Nanni Ricordi Museum in Sala Monferrato dedicated to the legendary record producer "inventor of singer-songwriters".
Finish with a "monferrina breakfast" in winery or in the vineyards. (Conzano).
• The Sacro Monte of Crea, nature culture and art. The Sacro Monte UNESCO Heritage Site with its devotional route of 23 chapels and 5 hermitages as far as the Cappella Paradiso is an essential stop-off point in Monferrato. The guided tour includes the visit to the Sanctuary della Madonna Assunta with the statue of the Black Madonna of pilgrimages.

• Shinrinyoku. An ancient Japanese practice which promotes interior health and inner wellness. In this sensory journey, we will learn how direct contact with Nature can improve the immune function, reduce stress and lead to a balance between mind, body and spirit. • Artisan hands. A special experience to discover some of the artisans of the area and their ancient trades, life in the bottega and their art. A human dimension and a value of the territories to protect and hand down. You will meet the wood artisan, the potter and the embroiderer, those who work the pietra da cantoni and those passionate about creating sculptures with old nails (Frassinello Monferrato / Camagna / Camagna M.to / Rosignano M.to)
• Personal food shopper. Are you a gourmand always in search of excellent products? Do you want to find out the iconic products of the area and personally get to know the producers and artisans of taste? This experience allows you to participate in an exclusive food tour between markets, botteghe and companies to fall in love with cured meats like "Muletta", goats cheeses, IPG hazelnuts, honey, rice and to be amazed by oil, wines and spirits.

• Trekking landscapes and smokestacks. A tour between the landscapes and local industrial archaeology once dedicated to producing concrete and lime. Visit the Museum of Mi-cem Miners and Cement mines of Monferrato Casalese, and catch a glimpse of our history that should not be forgotten. Visit and tasting in winery included (Ozzano Monferrato).
• Aleramo, the double tree and the infernot e-bike tour. An e-bike tour along the scenic roads with little traffic to get to know the history of Aleramo and the infernot UNESCO heritage site. Departure from Grazzano Badoglio and the Benedictine Abbey founded by Aleramo, founder of the Marquisate of Monferrato and who is buried here. Do you know the legend of Aleramo and his heroic ride on a white horse? And then Moncalvo and its Civic Museum home to precious works by Orsola Maddalena Caccia, but also Chagall and de Chirico.
Don't miss the double tree of Casorzo, perfect symbiosis between a mulberry tree and a cherry tree. The day is completed with a visit to an infernot UNESCO heritage site and a picnic in the vineyards. (Grazzano Badoglio).
• Losing and finding oneself: the history of the Castle of Gabiano and its mysterious labyrinth garden and historical monument. Relax and immerse yourself in nature at the lake "La Sorgente" at the foot of the Castle: the tranquility of the hills and the sounds of nature will restore harmony. For sports people possibility to fish in the lake (fishing equipment available to rent). Gourmet picnic or lunch at the restaurant of the Castle with tasting of wines produced by the vineyards on site (Gabiano).
• Looking upwards. The Astronomical Observatory of Odalengo Piccolo is located in the hills in an ideal position to observe the sky without being disturbed by the city lights. Accompanied by the experts of Gruppo Astrofili Cielo of Monferrato in the evenings dedicated to the observation, you can touch the stars and moon by hand! In summer/autumn, evening gourmet picnic and in spring /winter, visit and tasting in winery included (Odalengo Piccolo)
• By U-force among the vineyards. The U-force is an off-the-road vehicle, ideal to explore hilly terrains and routes which are not accessible by traditional vehicles, making the tour among the vineyards a unique adventure. Thanks to this vehicle you will travel among the rows of vines to reach breathtaking scenic points. At the end, tasting and visit in winery (Ozzano Monferrato)
