The restaurant is located in a small village surrounded by greenery, in a rustic but elegant setting, thanks to the renovation of a carefully restored old house.
At Pernice, informality, friendliness of the owner, low cost and expertise of the chef reign together. The restaurant is ideal for both a romantic getaway or a working lunch of a certain level and tranquility. The small and welcoming environment is no accident, with its specifically designed lighting, the care of the tables, the play of the color on the walls, the friendly staff and homely atmosphere. The dishes that come from the kitchen – always attentive to the seasons and local products – start with a mixed appetizer which varies according to the season (Russian salad, bell pepper with anchovy, vegetable pie, various salads, cured meat platter, mortadella with truffle and croutons) and continue with an ever excellent flan with fondue. The first course dishes are tasty and filling, whether you choose the delicious risotto with grape and cured pork fat, the classic Piedmont agnolotti with meat in tomato sauce, the excellent tagliolini mushrooms and sausage, the risotto with Montebore, the delicate nettle ravioli or the tortelli with gorgonzola, walnut and pear with vegetable julienne. Of the second course, if you have the opportunity, try the very special and tasty beef in dolceforte sauce, the stockfish with puree is always a good choice, the classic beef top blade roast with artichokes, the venison in salmì with polenta, and the grilled Borberina cheese. To finish off a highly successful evening, the soft pear and hazelnut cake, the apple jam, raisin and pine kernel tart and the citrus fruit semifreddo.
