Winery and B&B Barbera: typical red wine of Piedmont. Barbesino: Documents stored in the Capitular Archive of the Cathedral of Casale Monferrato, dating back to 1250, proclaim Barbesino “the best wine”. It was so good that it was served at the tables of Noblemen, Notaries and Canons. The traditional grape varieties are proposed from the best wine production area of Monferrato: the body of the Barbera, the finesse of the Grignolino, and the perfume of the Freisa merge into a harmonious whole: “His Excellency the Barbesino”. Cortese: DOC white wine, delicate, light but persistent and a fresh taste, well-balanced and pleasantly bitter.
Freisa: a DOC wine with a ruby-red colour sometimes verging on the garnet, with a characteristic delicate aroma and a dry, medium-sweet, bitter, sometimes lively taste. Grignolino: a DOC wine with a light ruby-red colour, a characteristic and delicate aroma - perfume and a dry, slightly tannic, pleasantly bitter taste with a characteristic aftertaste. Rosè Spumante Brut: a delicate and brilliant pink wine with a subtle and continuous perlage. Pronounced and persistent perfume, very fine, with various fruity scents of apricot, peach, currants. Dry fresh taste, good structure and great softness; a harmony of well-balanced sensations and a fruity finale. For guests, the facility offers tasting sessions and guided tours of the ancient cellar in tuff stone with oak barrels.
