A journey through Italian fashion and the breathtaking hilly and wine-growing landscapes of UNESCO Monferrato.

day 1
arrive in Alessandria in the afternoon. Visit Borsalino Museum, a journey among cinema, art and design through the most famous hat in the world. The manufacture begins in Alessandria in 1857 and, through 52 stages, the expert craftsmen continue to create one of the symbols of Made in Italy. The modern museum uses multimedia supports to reveal the story of the family and its inextricable link with the town. The route continues through the eight monumental display cases designed by Arnaldo Gardella for the ancient Borsalino Sample Room which punctuate the passage among as many narrative sections with more than two-thousand hats on show. At the end of the visit we suggest stopping at the historical boutique where expert personnel will help you purchase"your very own" Borsalino hat.

day 2
After breakfast in Fubine, guided tour of the infernots Unesco heritage site. These are underground rooms dug into the typical sandstone of the area, called pietra da cantone: thanks to the particular geological characteristics of the soil of marine origin, the infernots keep the temperature and humidity constant, making them ideal food storage areas, in addition to the cellars. They are the precious inheritance of the rural tradition, small hidden treasures, recognized as world heritage sites. Return to winery: walk among the vineyards, tour and visit the Frammenti di Moda Collection by Mila Shon, one of the most important Italian designers of the twentieth century. Passionate about art, she develops a style in which paintings and sculptures merge with the fabrics to become refined garments: she invents the double face and her creations are still part of the permanent exhibition of the Metropolitan Museum of New York.
At the end, tasting of three wines accompanied by local products.
Lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, we recommend reaching some of the most picturesque scenic points of the area including Treville the balcony of the Alps, Moleto hamlet of Ottiglio with the Romanesque Church of San Michele, the big bench near San Grato in Sala Monferrato, or the Sacred Mountain of Crea with its Sanctuary and the devotional route among the chapels and the uncontaminated vegetation of the Nature Reserve.

day 3
In the afternoon, free time to discover the enchanting villages of Lower Monferrato including Camagna and the spectacular dome of the Church of S. Eusebio or Conzano Monferrato and the Promenade des Artistes, a tour along the streets of the town transformed into an open-air museum with contemporary art sculptures. An artistic tour of Rosignano Monferrato is also possible where, aside from the spectacular infernots, a must-do activity is the Morbellian Route with 19 locations where the paintings by Angelo Morbelli are reproduced, paintings in which one of the leading figures of Italian Divisionism made the landscape of Monferrato the protagonist.

A unique landscape not to be missed on the tenth anniversary of its nomination as Unesco heritage site.
