Our Aromatic Wines are charismatic, elegant and charming but vibrant and full of energy. They know how to mix the lightness of a witty remark with the depth of meditation.
The wines are rich in nuances, just like their aromas that transport us into stories in the distant past.

And so, for those who wish to be part of this group of friends who appreciate the finer things in life, from art to music, from cuisine to fashion, and surround themselves with beauty in all its forms, here are the experiences of a territory which can only be fully discovered by following the secondary roads, those which unwind between the hills and from where you can suddenly catch a glimpse of breathtaking landscapes, villages which speak of history but also sing of relatively recent stories on the notes of Luigi Tenco who was born in these areas, looking for presidia and special products and gems between art and history.

• Wine painting in wine cellar. With our painter and color sommelier you will learn that you can use wine and its many nuances instead of traditional colors. The wine color palette has infinite combinations, thanks to factors that give life to ever- different shades: the result is a vast range of color variations, obtained thanks to nuances, layering, veiling, fluidity and density from which to choose. • Horse ride in the hills and vineyards: total immersion in nature to relax and slowly discover the area. Ideal for couples and groups of friends but also for families with the possibility of riding a pony.

• Roman Acqui Terme route: guided tour of the Roman city of Aque Statielle with its spontaneous natural spring rich in sodium, bromine and iodine at a temperature of 74.5 °C: visit the Archaeological Museum, the museum deposits with a practical demonstration of activities with archaeologist. Tasting in Regional Wine Store “Terme e Vino” included. (Acqui Terme )
• Picnic in the vineyard: a gourmet “merenda sinoira” in the hills of Southern Monferrato tasting salami and local products among the rows of vines accompanied by a bottle of wine. Visit to historical winery included (Strevi)
• Truffle hunting: whether it is white or black prized winter truffle or black summer truffle, every season of the year is suitable for a walk in the woods with the truffle hunter and his dog in search of the outstanding subterranean mushroom (Alice Bel Colle)
• Play with history: a journey into the past. The Via Aemilia Scauri, the ancient Roman road which has marked the territory from Piacenza to the Côte d'Azur for more than two thousand years, becomes the thread to follow to enjoy the history and nature of the area in an engaging game which merges an immersive walk with theater and art to discover the legend of the birth of Monferrato (Cassine)
• Scenic flight in helicopter or parachute jump: a picturesque look over castles and vine-covered landscapes of Monferrato or, for the most adventurous, an adrenaline-pumping parachute jump with instructor (Strevi)
• The School of Roccaverano DOP. A unique cheese in the world, produced in only 19 municipalities between Alessandria and Asti and which you will become acquainted with in a proper school through exceptional teachers, the producers: you will visit their breeding farms of goats, grazing areas and dairy farms (Roccaverano)
• Cooking class: under the guidance of an expert chef you will learn to cook the traditional recipes to enjoy together and accompanied by local wines. Complimentary gift of recipe book and "expert cook" diploma (Morsasco)
• Off-road scenic tour of the vineyards: a tour of the vineyards by jeep to enjoy the vine-covered landscapes classified as Unesco heritage site and tasting picnic (Strevi)
• Medicinal herb workshop. A sensory experience on the hills of Valle Bormida with the picking and processing of wild herbs. In an ecological and sustainable agriturismo where all the crops are organic, with our expert we will be able to recognize the plants, the method of picking, the properties, their use according to ancient medicine or popular tradition (Ponti)
• Lavender Experience. In June and July the hills of Southern Monferrato explode with the blue/purple color of lavender in bloom. Walk in the fields with picnic and visit a farm which processes the plants to obtain essential oils, floral water and herbal teas using organic and bio-dynamic methods (Castelletto d’Erro)
• Trekking in Valle del Passito. Hiking route in a small area of Southern Monferrato which is home to Moscato Passito, one of the most famous dessert or meditation wines of Italy. In Valle Bagnario, the documents date the first production of this wine to 1078 and the bunches still dry on trellises before refining in bottles. Stop off at the moscato yellow Big Bench #21 and tasting in cellar (Valle Bagnario Strevi)
• Wellness Apiary. Visit a farm with educational bee tour on the world of bees and honey, followed by relaxation in the wellness apiary with Bee sound and aromatherapy wellness. Make yourself comfortable and relax to the sound of the vibrations of the tiny wings in the boxes next to you (Cassine)
• Saffron experience. Picking saffron means to discover the story of an ancient spice, which requires attention and very special care. It blooms once between October and November, for a dozen days following nature. It is picked gently by hand at dawn when the flowers are still closed and the dampness cannot damage the precious stigmas inside. At the end, sip a saffron herbal tea and admire the ancient farming tools and "nomadic" beehives of the farm (Cavatore)
• Music & Wine. The small village of Ricaldone is the birthplace of the singer-songwriter Luigi Tenco, the innovative author who revolutionized the style of Italian music. The town is home to the Tenco Museum where you will trace the life and career of this artist and poet through records, articles, texts and music.
Followed by e-bike tour among the vineyards (itinerary suited to all / duration two hours) and final aperitivo (Ricaldone)
• E-bike tour in Valle Bormida: guided e-bike tour across the Bormida in unspoiled hills not far from the sea. Merana, Spigno, Denice, Mombaldone, Ponti and Bistagno will surprise you with their towers, medieval villages and Gothic churches. Lunch at agriturismo included (Merana)
• Along the Gothic Route: an independent or guided tour to admire an interesting heritage of frescoes for the most part late Gothic, an itinerary which joins magnificent ancient villages off the beaten track. San Francesco in Cassine, Santo Stefano in Sezzadio, San Giovanni Battista in Roccaverano. Visit to the Giulio Monteverde Plaster Cast Gallery in Bistagno is included (Bistagno)
• Petal of Southern Monferrato / Gravel. 90 km technical route on dirt roads immersed in the countryside, vineyards and riverbanks. The straight road of 5 km before Castelnuovo Bormida is a true highlight for fast gravel bikers, with an adventurous ford over the Bormida. Getting closer to the hills of Acqui Terme the landscape changes into a world of narrow valleys and steep hills dotted with vineyards where the scenery rewards you for all the hard work on the steep "strappi" which will gratify the most technical bikers, and a paved ramp unfolds on the hills among the vineyards and villages. Last highlight: the wood after Mombaruzzo, pure CX style (Castelnuovo Bormida)
• Amaretti & spirits. Amaretti are a typical biscuit of Piedmont and the history of Amaretti di Mombaruzzo goes back to the late 18th century, when Francesco Moriondo from Mombaruzzo, treasurer at the Mandria of Venaria, falls in love with a young Sicilian woman, pastry chef at the Royal House. Visit to the production workshop in which you will try to make "your very own" amaretti. Followed by a visit to the historical Berta distillery: you will discover the Alembic Museum, the ageing cellars and try the different types of spirits accompanied by amaretti. To finish, leave a little room for your imagination and create your own personal label of a grappa of your choice (Mombaruzzo).
• Walls tell a story, Fontanile the village of the painted walls. Meeting with Luigi Amerio the painter of the project "I Muri raccontano": many buildings of the village are home to the mural paintings which depict scenes of daily life with the shops and historical workshops, or moments of farming life or events occurred in the village. A tour through the village and the painter's studio to discover the new characters which will come back to life: the images are so vivid and real that it seems that you can hear the children's laughter, the women chatting in the square and the sounds of the bells. And in these hills where brachetto is the most grown grape variety the experience ends with a visit to a winery and tasting (Fontanile)
• Trekking in the Wood delle Sorti & “babaci”: Bosco delle Sorti la Communa is a protected natural and wooded oasis between Maranzana, Alice Bel Colle and Mombaruzzo, particularly beautiful and of great fauna and naturalistic importance. Our expert environmental hiking guide will tell you about the origin of this oasis (why it is called that way), guide you to the enchanting scenic points. In Maranzana (from April to September) walk among the "babaci", a Piedmontese term for puppets...those which have repopulated the village telling stories and characters of the past. The Museum of Giacomo Bove is a must-see. Bove was an explorer and cartographer who took part in numerous explorations including the search of the North-East Passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans along the strait (Maranzana)
• Animal walk with lama and alpaca: the quiet step of the lamas and the alpacas will accompany you on a relaxing walk surrounded by the sounds of nature. These gentle animals with their big eyes and intelligence will win over both young and old; wool working workshop included to make small felt objects. (Cavatore)
