The Church of San Francesco presents a façade in composite style (1835-1854) and an interior composed of a large central nave with two aisles. The wattle of the bell tower and the apse date back to the 15th century. The Franciscans present in Acqui Terme since 1244, obtained the Church of San Giovanni of probable Early Christian origin, which they radically transformed after the second half of the 15th century; annexed to the church is the convent of which the two cloisters survive. Inside, the Immaculate Conception by Moncalvo, the Adoration of the Magi by Raffael A. Soleri and A Madonna with Child between Saint Francis and Saint Anthony from Padua by Pietro Beccaria.
