For an exciting "Wine Experience” La Cedraia offers a beautiful old villa surrounded by a centuries-old park, overlooking the vineyard. We invite guests to enjoy the charm of this magnificent land between Piedmont and Liguria, where they can savor the flavors in our Wine Tasting Rooms, browse selections of wines in our Show Room and Wine Shop, relax in an atmosphere of old-world vaulted ceilings and filled with antiques, and enjoy a place surrounded by vineyards with an unforgettable view of the Gavi hills.
In the villa and surrounding park, food and wine themed events frequently take place, as well as parties and celebrations of any sort.
La Cedraia also offers "wine tours" by appointment, where our guests can enjoy personal interaction with our winemakers, along with tasting La Cedraia wines accompanied by typical cuisine from the surrounding area, and the possibility of purchasing our wines directly on site.
A visit to La Cedraia includes an introduction to our winemaking process, a stroll in the centuries-old park around the villa overlooking the vineyard, a tour of the vineyard and the centuries-old underground cellar, and a presentation of the features that make our wine sustainable now, and for generations to come.
The winery situated at La Cedraia is the result of the enthusiasm and perseverance of the wine-maker Marco Cremonini who, supported by his daughters Laura and Francesca, recovered the vine-growing vocation of the estate lost in the early sixties inheriting the affection for the house and for the surrounding land property of his father Carlo.
The winery follows at all stages of its production the "sustainability" principles, from the cultivation to the wine making, by specific measures aimed at minimizing the impact on environment and climate: our Gavi DOCG has been awarded by the Italian Ministry of Environment of the official VIVA Sustainable Wine label.
