"We still detach bunches as we did in the past, with scissors and elbow grease", says Davide Cavelli, who is continuing the family tradition, begun more than a century ago by his great grandfather Pietro. The farm extends over eleven hectares, nine under vineyards. Casa Cavelli began producing wine in 1907, and has always kept to scrupulous and attentive procedures to ensure the production of superior quality wine. This has led to great structured wines like the Ovada D.O.C.G. “Bricco Le Zerbe”, obtained from vineyards that yield 40 quintals /hectare.
