The main building dates to the 17th century. The recent renovation has preserved the original characteristics (solid brick vaults, use of tuff bricks and using ecological materials (cork insulation, doors and windows in larch wood). Surrounded by more than 5 hectares of land, partly used as a garden, partly as a wood and for strictly organic farming, Cascina Trapella is now an “ideal paradise” for those who are used to the stressful rhythms of metropolitan life and want to wake up to birds singing, count the stars before going to sleep without being overshadowed by city lights. Guests can also explore the beautiful Monferrato hills, its vineyards and maybe taste the best local wines directly at the place of production. Cascina Trapella serves simple cuisine inspired by the local tradition and uses only seasonal products.
