Recognized as one of the "Most beautiful villages of Italy", Volpedo is inextricably linked to Giuseppe Pellizza, one of the most famous painters of his time. The medieval origin of the village is clear in various areas and finds its culmination in the Church of San Pietro which jealously guards the magnificent frescoes realized between the 14th and 16th centuries.
The skillful and traditional agricultural vocation of the village have made this area a land of renowned food and wine production, including fishing and wines of the Tortona Hills.
The Volpedo Hostel is new, bright and welcoming, and the staff will be delighted to assist you during your stay suggesting itineraries, guided tours and some good
