The timeless splendor of a Villa in the hilly wine-producing area of Alto Monferrato, a stop-off point of considerable cultural interest along the trails of the picturesque Piedmontese landscape, a manor house not far from the centre of Acqui Terme, in the Province of Alessandria. Having crossed the gates of the Borgo Monterosso Complex, the allure of the location becomes irresistible and inevitably enthuses every visitor. Villa Ottolenghi Borgomonterosso is an exceptional example of 1920s synoptic art. Many illustrious architects, such as Marcello Piacentini and artists, such as Arturo Martini, Fortunato Depero and Venanzo Crocetti, worked on the Villa thanks to the patronage of Counts Ottolenghi. Guests will find the rooms a unique and charming setting for private events and gala dinners, an ideal location for weddings and other events; guests can immerse themselves in the magical setting of the park, which is the work of the famous landscape architect Pietro Porcinai, visit the mausoleum, or Temple of Herta, the private museum of the Ottolenghi, the Winery (which provides high quality wines). The Formal Garden received the European Heritage Garden Award in 2011.
