The company was re-opened in 2016 following a stop of one generation, recuperating the family tradition of producing wine. The paternal grandparents, and the grandparents of the grandparents before them, were renowned wine makers in Mombisaggio, hamlet of the municipality of Tortona.

The lands have a strong wine vocation and are "fragmented", as it was done in the past, into surfaces which are never larger than the hectare on hills around the town. The different exposures and composition of the soil, which varies from clay-rich marl to calcareous, give the different plots characteristics and unique qualities that we will try to enhance over the years. According to tradition, each lot has its own name and its own history. Like Maggiora, our vineyard which represents us the most, with magnificent soil and morphological characteristics currently planted with Timorasso vines. Its conformation, on the side of a hill, with north-west to south-east exposures produce grapes with very different properties and harvesting periods. From them we obtain our 2 current lines of Timorasso Colli Tortonesi: Derthona and Derthona-Maggiora, a cru produced with selected grapes.
Since 2018, we have produced a Monleale purchasing Barbera grapes in the local area.
