The Cathedral ambulatory is home to several Romanesque and Gothic sculptures, bas-reliefs and fragments of a mosaic pavement dating from the 12th century belonging to the Church of Sant'Evasio.

Il Tesoro del Duomo - Sacrestia Aperta (The Treasure of the Cathedral – Open Sacristy) is found inside the ancient Cathedral of Sant’Evasio.
The route offers a double visit: historical-architectural, related to the museum environments, and the exhibition route with ancient mosaics that date back to the 12th century, works of silver and gold, ancient wooden cabinets that house ecclesiastical furnishings and textile articles.

The archaeological route of the attic was inaugurated in 2013. The visitor travels an evocative metal walkway that winds between one span and the other suspended on the vaults to see the development phases of the Cathedral’s architecture, to descend into the women’s galleries of the atrium, where it is possible to admire the most hidden decorative elements close up.

The Museum is home to temporary exhibitions during the year (for more information refer to the events section of the website).


* MUSEUEM OF THE TREASURE OF THE CATHEDRAL - OPENING TIMES *

The Museum of the Treasure of the Cathedral - Open Sacristy) is open on Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm and on Sunday from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.

The Museum will also be open to visitors on Thursday 25 and Sunday 1 May from 3 pm to 6 pm.

* OPENING TIMES OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL ROUTE OF THE ATTC (closed July and August)

During the months of opening of the Museum of the Treasure of the Cathedral, the route is usually open to visitors on the second Sunday of the month, during the event "Casale Città Aperta" or on specific events which will be communicated.

To access the attic a contribution of €5 is requested (for children older than 12), €4 (for children younger than 12 and over 60s), free for holders of the card Abbonamento Musei Piemonte.


Access to the attic is with a guide at 3 pm, 4 pm or 5 pm. The visit lasts approximately 45 minutes. The maximum number of people per visit is 10, so it is recommended to book at 392.9388505 or send an email to antipodescasale@gmail.com).

Comfortable clothing is recommended for visiting the attic.

Several steps are present before the entrance. The route is on flat ground, with a few steps. The Chapter House can only be reached by a flight of stairs.
