La Tenuta is named after the Governor of Moncalvo who founded it in the 17th century and stands at the edges of the natural park of the Sanctuary of Crea, a UNESCO heritage site. Sabine Ehrmann has managed the estate since 2004. The characteristics of the soil, the care taken in the growing and the modern technique used in the cellar allow to obtain quality grapes and to enhance their natural characteristics. Production is focused on the autochthonous vines Grignolino and Barbera. La Tenuta is also an international cultural and meeting centre that hosts numerous events to bring together art and wine connoisseurs.
