The Teatro consists of a Natural Science Museum with exhibition sections that include paleontological, mineralogical, ornithological, entomological collections. The ornithological showcase at the back of the hall recreates day and night environments, placing the specimens in their respective natural
habitats.

The Planetarium is equipped with the Digistar Lite Highlights system, one of the most prestigious systems, which revolutionizes
the way in which full-dome astronomy is presented inside small medium
domes like that of the
Teatro delle Scienze of Alessandria.
This innovative digital planetary system makes it possible to view the sky
in different wavelengths in
telescope mode it is possible to see the universe, experiencing the effect of navigating on a spaceship, zooming in on a
nebula or any other celestial body.
It is possible, for example, to show the movement of the sun with respect to the barycenter of the solar system, access the 88
constellations, view the galaxies in 3D, simulate the lunar and solar eclipses,
take a tour of the
black hole in the heart of the Milky Way, show the vision of the sky and stars on precise dates of the past or
future, access the real images captured by the satellites, to mention just some of the contents of this advanced
software, with an exceptional graphics and animation system.
The Planetarium of the Teatro delle Scienze is one of the most modern and well-equipped, able to satisfy the growing demands
of the public in terms of innovation in this field which fascinates enthusiasts of astronomy and others.

Teatro delle Scienze is open on SUNDAY 15 DECMEBER from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

SUNDAY 15 DECEMBER
Teatro delle Scienze will hold a Christmas event with guided tours of the nature route by the museum employees of ASM Costruire Insieme and of the Planetarium with the route "La magica scienza del Natale" realized by the Galileo Amateur Astronomers Group of Pecetto di Valenza. ASD On Stage Dance and Theater of Alessandria will also participate in this special afternoon at the Teatro delle Scienze with face-painting, a small Christmas themed workshop, games and
other activities.
The event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -

Reduced ticket € 3 – from 12 to 18 years of age and over 65s, university students with university card up to 30 years of age, groups of minimum of
12 people.
Free admission: journalists registered in the Order of Journalists, visitors younger than 12 years of age, members of Torino Musei and holders of the Torino+Piedmonte card, Banca di Asti Museum voucher, disabled people and carers, group leaders and teachers who accompany the classes for workshops, on inaugurations/events and concerts within the operational rooms.

Citta nostra" and "Facciamo Squadra Fraschetta", the distribution of coupons
made available by
Costruire Insieme continues on Sunday 15 December at Santa's House in
Piazzetta delle Lega. This time
the coupon gives free admission to Teatro delle Scienze of Via 1821 n°.11 in Alessandria. The Teatro is open
from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The ticket entitles to one free admission
and on 15 December it
will allow visitors to participate in the Christmas event mentioned above. The coupon is valid until 6 January 2025, to visit the Teatro delle Scienze free of charge, a true gem of the Town of Alessandria.

Accessibility: Entrance with ramp for disabled visitors and bathroom for people with reduced mobility.
