The basin of Rio Miseria, a tributary of the Erro Torrent, borders with the Liguria region. The site is characterised by the prevalent outcrop of serpentinite ("green stone") that derives from the metamorphic transformation of original peridotite igneous rocks. The reliefs of the Rio Miseria basin are covered by some trails that are part of the wider regional trail network.
