A church dedicated to Saints Remigio and Carlo existed as a church of the monks since 1099. The first historical document which mentions it is the Papal Bull of Innocent II of 1143. From the analysis of the documents and examination of the sources it would appear that it had been built in the parish in 1383. Today this building is the property of the town and in a state of disrepair. Despite the ancient Romanesque building was enlarged in 1825, in the 1950s, upon the idea of Don Aldo Rossi, a new modern and functional building was built a short distance away. The first stone was blessed by Cardinal Siri in 1958 and the church was consecrated a year later.
