There is documented evidence of the existence of a church dedicated to Sant' Andrea starting from the 13th century. The building, which in its present form dates back to the late 17th century, stands at the foot of the castle of Novi, next to Porta Genoa, demolished in 1907. Passed the wide 19th century staircase, you enter the interior richly decorated by the Muratori (1784-1797). The scenes of the life of Sant' Andrea on the barrel vault, the two "choir stalls" with fake illusionistic architecture on the side walls, the decoration of the apsidal basin, is the most accomplished evidence of the work of the two painters of Voghera in Novi.
