The Church of Pallavicino, named after San Bernardo Abate, has ancient origins; it was probably built around the 1600s as an oratory and became parish church in 1641, when it detached itself from the church of Vendersi.
The church was dedicated to the Carmelite nuns by a marquess of the Adorno family. The main feast days of the parish are those of Our Lady of Carmine in July and that of the parish feast day of San Bernardo on 20 August.
There is also a special devotion to San Rocco to whom the local population asked and obtained protection from the Spanish fever in the early last century.
