The baci di dama are the masterpiece of the confectionery art of Tortona: small and delicious pastries consisting of two oval or hemispherical shaped biscuits made with almond flour, butter, sugar and wheat flour, laid one on top of the other and joined by a light layer of chocolate. In these two historic pastry shops of the city, you will find the best samples, both wrapped and loose, next to a wide range of fresh and dry pastries.
