The Piedmont Po Natural Park, established under regional law 11 dated 27 March 2019, is an ecological corridor of water and nature which extends for 200 km between the provinces of Alessandria, Cuneo, Torino and Vercelli, from Casalgrasso to Isola Sant'Antonio (meeting of the Rivers Po and Scrivia). The Park extends entirely into the plains, sometimes lapping the hilly zones to the right of the River Po.
In the province of Alessandria the Park covers the territory of the municipalities of
Alluvioni Piovera, Bassignana, Bozzole, Camino, Casale Monferrato, Frassineto Po, Gabiano, Isola Sant'Antonio, Moncestino, Morano sul Po, Pecetto di Valenza, Pontestura, Valenza and Valmacca.
