The oldest bakery in Castellazzo Bormida has been handcrafting these extraordinary, fragrant, crumbly, hand-stretched grissini (also available in stay-fresh packaging) for three generations. The Genoese focaccia, pizza and bread are excellent and also available with cereals, olives, hazelnuts, kamut and spelt. The pastry department deserves a special mention for the remarkable variety of shortcrust biscuits (like the Crumbot, with little seasoning and ideal for breakfast), the stuffed cakes and the jam tarts. In festive periods, there is no shortage of panettoni, colombe and excellent Genoese pandolce.
