Palazzo Sannazzaro was built in the early 18th century on a pre-existing medieval building and is considered one of the most beautiful examples of Piedmontese Baroque. Built at the behest of Count Gian Battista Sannazzaro, it embodies the pure artistic spirit of the time, through its external decorations, like the wrought iron balcony, as light as black lace, or the swirls that frame the windows of the main floor or, again, its internal frescoes, in gilded frames and large surrounding frescoes. The first documented information on Palazzo Caire di Lauzet dates back to the late 16th century. The history of the building is widely documented, since the archive stores all the documents regarding the changes of ownership from the late 16th century to date. The visit includes the courtyard of Palazzo Caire Di Lauzet and the private chapel; you move to the adjacent courtyard of Palazzo Sannazzaro with a visit to the main floor, a jewel of the 18th century with its frescoes by famous painters, decorations in pure gold, and overdoors with canvases of the time. The total duration of the visit is approximately 50 minutes.
