The elegant building, partly rebuilt in 1775 to a design by Count Filippo Nicolis de Robilant for the Gozani family of San Giorgio, was completed in 1778. Since 1885, the building has been home to the Town Council. The vestibule, to the left of the atrium, gives access to the stairwell with vault embellished by stuccoes. Four marble cherubs by G.B. Bernero (1736-1796), representing the four seasons, decorate the balustrade also made of marble. From the landing, you enter the large room that was once the ballroom and has now become the meeting room for the Town Council. On the vault, a fresco by the painter Francesco Lorenzi (1737-1787) from Verona depicts Apollo with Pegasus and the Muses. The other environments preserve frescoes and overdoors painted by Lorenzi and a few chimneys and furnishings of the period designed by Lorenzo Marini.
