Authentic gem of the Piedmont baroque era, built according to the plan of the architect Benedetto Alfieri from Asti, and commissioned by the Marquis Tommaso Ghilini. Called "Royal city palace", it was confiscated by French forces in 1805 and handed over to the Kingdom of Savoy. In 1869, it became home to the offices of the provincial government and Prefecture. It is only open to visitors during some events.
