The Observatory is positioned on a magnificent hill of Monferrato, at 400 m above sea level in one of the last sites where it is still possible to observe and photograph the sky, without the disturbance of city lights. It is equipped with a Meade Smith-Cassegrain 350 mm telescope and an Astrophisic 150 mm refractor. It is open to the public two evenings a month. It consists of a command room, from which it is possible, via a computer, to move the main telescope and the functions of its accessories, with sliding roof that opens fully.
