The Museum entitled “La memoria del passato” in Casalnoceto is located inside the old school cellars. The setting is particularly impressive thanks to the imposing exposed brick vaults dating from the last century. The museum has a long gallery furnished with vintage objects and a display cabinet exhibiting prestigious clothing. The gallery leads through to a range of themed exhibition areas which include everyday tools and objects connected with the rural culture, the large kitchen, the nursery, the old school, the carpenter and blacksmith’s workshop, and the music school. The exhibition ends in the room that displays the oldest garments, including the wedding dress of Marietta, sister of the painter Pellizza da Volpedo.
