This project stems from the desire of the Rosso brothers, Maurizio and GianMario, managers of RISTORANTE ITALIA in Cerrina Monferrato, a business in operation for more than half a century, to bring their hazelnut cake to everyone's home. The cake is still kneaded by hand and the ingredients are all local and carefully selected from farming companies nearby. The cake can be purchased at the Restaurant or bought online. Sustainability has always been at the heart of this project, as the brothers have been aware since the start that delivering a cake to someone's house would be anything but environmentally friendly, due to packaging. What can be done to minimise the impact on the environment? The solution: Monferrato Hazelnut Cake is WITHOUT NON-RECYLCABLE WASTE AND POWERED BY RENEWABLE ENERGY!
