Riding the wave of the culinary traditions of Campania-Puglia (birthplace of the two owners who are also a married couple), there is a pizzeria in the historic centre of Casale Monferrato that serves wonderful Mediterranean cuisine. In the lovely and elegant bright dining room, embellished by paintings of landscapes of the Amalfi coast, you can enjoy the delicious pan-fried pizzas (from €6 - €10) proposed in many different varieties (bocconcino pugliese, bufala di Caserta, national anchovies, burrata pugliese, Sauris ham...). Alternatively, accompanied by a good selection of wines (but also craft beers), there are Felicetti kamut linguine with scallops and glasswort, Carnaroli Veneria rice with snapper sauce, fresh orecchiette with burrata cream and Pachino tomatoes, traditional black mussels from Puglia in their own juice (from €10 - €14). The service in the dining room is also excellent and the first bottle of water (Lauretana) is free – what a lovely surprise.
