Dolcetto di Ovada - Ovada “U Surì” GRIMALDA La Piria is located in the municipality of Rocca Grimalda, in the heart of Monferrato, a zone dedicated to the production of Dolcetto. Set up in 1940, for three generations the key objective of our company has been to aim for excellence, managing the vineyards in a way that limits the yield to guarantee high quality grapes, thanks also to the their excellent exposure. We work the vineyards using traditional methods, combining modern technologies with the knowledge and effort that only experience and passion for this work can provide. Our commitment continues in the cellar, where we only work with grapes produced in our vineyards, for a product that respects the characteristics of each single vine, so we can offer you the essence of our territory in our wines. It will be our pleasure to have you visit the company, taste the different wines and, if interested, take you on a short journey to discover the characteristics of our vineyards, their exposure and the assessments which have allowed us to select the best soil/variety to make the most of the peculiarities of the different vines in the habitat most congenial to each.
