The restaurant is a short distance from piazza della Bollente, the picturesque site of this beautiful spa town. The rooms have kept the antique architectural structure, guaranteeing harmony between elegance and tradition. The hospitality is impeccable. The wine selection is superior, as are the raw materials of the territory. This is the kingdom of the Bernaschina couple, who have been able to codify a decidedly appealing kind of cuisine, to enjoy in the two cosy dining rooms.
For the starter, salt cod tartare with spring vegetable tartare scented with fresh bergamot, the anchovies accompanied by fried artichokes, the whitebait, and the ever-present mixed fry Piedmont style. The excellent first courses include risotto with asparagus of Santena, with coddled egg and aged Robiola from Roccaverano, or the Genoese-style vegetable minestrone with the egg tajarin. The second courses include the not-to-be-missed Roccaverano kid meat cooked twice with jacket potatoes and fried artichokes as well as the Acqui-style salt cod or the creative Iberian pluma blanched with burrata cream. Excellent selection of typical cheeses and there is no shortage of exquisite desserts like tiramisù. Gourmet menu (starter, first course, selection of cheese and dessert) while for those who want to try the Gran Gourmet menu (starter, first course, second course, selection of cheese and dessert) the price is set at €60. On weekdays, lunch comprising two dishes of your choice, water and coffee costs €20. In addition to the menu, you will always find the “traditional dishes of the Curia”. The prices are always demanding, but the result is well worth it. The restaurant is closed all day Monday - The Wine shop is closed all day Monday and Tuesday morning
