From this year, the herbal bitter Peruzzo has a new graphic look and a new gift box, but Iginio’s old recipe has remained the same: only medicinal plants selected in the Ligurian-Piedmont Apennines by expert pickers, such as gentianella, carlina, centaurea, rose hip, juniper, hawthorn, infused in hydro-alcoholic solution. It carries out tonic-digestive functions but, with ice and lemon, also becomes an excellent aperitif. The activity of Erbaflor, begun with the grandfather Iginio Peruzzo and continued by his granddaughter Irene, produces and sells health products using the medicinal properties of herbs. The production ranges from essential oils, natural cosmetics and natural organic foods that can be found in a score of shops scattered throughout the lower Piedmont region, but also on the website www.erbaflor.com.
