The visitor is welcomed by the monumental Town Hall (former Castle). The earliest certain information on the castle dates to the mid-fourteenth century. The village is home to the Parish Church Santa Maria Nascente, consecrated in the early 17th century with the title of Cathedral of Milan by the archbishop Federico Borromeo. The characteristic Church of Madonna delle Grazie is object of popular devotion for the fresco of the Madonna with saints. Legend has it that the stain on the shoulder of the Virgin is the indelible mark of the stone thrown in mockery by a Spanish soldier during the sieges of the mid-17th century.
