One of the first villages you meet when you go out of Casale Monferrato is Terruggia, whose first documented evidence dates to the Middle Ages: to welcome you is the Oratory of San Grato, a small baroque church with octagonal plan, before reaching the main square, onto which faces the Church of San Martino, consecrated in 1601. The Municipality is home to an infernot, dating to the late 19th century.
