Famous for its truffles, Murisengo rises on cool slopes and is recognisable for the unmistakable profile of the ancient crenellated tower, of the castle and of the belfry of the parish church. In the hamlet of Corteranzo, is the Baroque church of San Luigi Gonzaga, with a curious pagoda shape. Originally of Murisengo was Luigi Lavazza, who opened the first Lavazza Shop in the centre of Turin, giving way to the homonymous company now leader in its sector.
The village is famous for the National Truffle Fair "Trifola d'Or" which is held in November.
