The 19th century Villa Caffarena is home to the Serravalle Scrivia municipal art gallery, put together with the help of artists who have exhibited their work in the library over the years. The gallery, which has the privileged position of being the choice exhibition centre for all of the artists, puts on show more than 30 works able to offer a heterogeneous overview of art from the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition covers some 200m² on several floors. It is composed almost entirely of works by artists from Lower Piedmont and the surrounding areas, such as Mario Annone, Gianni Baretta, Mario Fallini and Angioletta Firpo.
