The Church of Santi Pietro e Pantaleone was built in the 13th century.

The building has undergone multiple restoration and modification work over the centuries involving most of the structures. The square-based Romanesque bell tower dates from the Middle Ages while the current facade is traceable to a nineteenth century reconstruction.

The fifth chapel on the right is home to the baptismal font where Pope Pius V was baptized.
