The design of the facade and the layout of the construction, that date to the late 17th century, show a demanding decorative enthusiasm. The church has a Greek cross plan and altar placed in an almost central position.
Artworks and objects inside: Four large paintings of the early period of Pier Francesco Guala. One of these portrays St. Michael crushing the Devil. This work shows the demon with the afflicted face of a man and St. Michael dressed as a centurion. At the side of the great altar, a marble statue of the high-era depicts St. Michael. The statue is most likely to come from the high altar of the Cathedral of Casale Monferrato.
