The church was built by the Serviti friars and is a national monument.

The powerful 15th century facade in Gothic-Lombard style dates to 1400. It is in terracotta bricks, marked by four buttresses with pinnacle. A large rose window embellishes the facade. A frieze of suspended arches adorns the upper wall and the left side, where there is a secondary entrance. There is a small window at the top of the facade. The apse seems to have an octagonal design: in truth, they are three apses side by side.

The church was built by the Servants of Maria between 1470 and 1505. In 1802, the French Republic decreed the suppression of the convent and since then the property has been in conditions of decay.

The interior of three naves is divided by six brick columns in plastered terracotta and painted with 16th century capitals. The vaults are ribbed. On the presbytery and on the choir: pointed arches. The altar and the rails are simply decorated.

Artworks and objects inside
A wooden Madonna of the "Seven Sorrows" sculpted by a friar from the trunk of a pear tree. The beautiful choir with twenty inlaid seats, restored several years ago, shows us all its splendor, full of symbols depicting the history of the church. In the right nave, 15th century frescoes are coming to light.
