The Castle of Montegioco is the ideal location for private, elegant events thanks to the unique landscape and food and wine setting.
Dating back to the mid-17th century, the Castle has belonged to different noble families (Opizzoni, Malaspina and Busseti) through the centuries which have contributed to spreading the aura of royalty over the territory.
Subject to restrictions provided for by the Fine Arts Department, the Castle of Montegioco has undergone important restoration work to renew its ancient beauty and maintain its authenticity.
The Castle of Montegioco is one of 25 historical homes of Monferrato. At Expo 2015, it represented the Piedmont Region, and it is part of the exclusive circuit of Class Venue and Residenze d'Epoca.
