The farm is nestled in the hills of Acqui, at the foot of the Apennines. The history of the Cascina Cantau farm dates to the early 20th century and continues in the footsteps of the grandparents’ experience, which has been joined by the passion and the continuous desire of the father Gianfranco and the mother Mariangela to enhance the territory. From the enthusiasm and the desire not to abandon something precious, the daughters Laura and Chiara have contributed to the innovation of a small but important reality. The respect of ancient recipes together with the desire to study and experiment, as well as the organic cultivation of the raw materials, are the main ingredients of the farm produce. Production follows the seasonality of the fruit and vegetables, cultivated in the vegetable garden or in the farm orchard. Cascina Cantau proposes a vast selection of jarred products, from sweet to savoury, to sweet and sour, in oil, with the desire to satisfy every palate.
