"Cascina Belvedere 1932" was established in 2018, but its history is deeply rooted in the past. A Notarial deed of sale and purchase of the plot, historically called "vignavegia", dated 1580, Notary Giacomo Solario - preserved in the State Archives of Genoa, certifies the cultivation of grapes before the sixteenth century. The Podestà Family has produced its own wine there since 1970 when Emilio, father of the current owner, purchased the property consisting of a farmhouse and 2 hectares of vineyards.
The property is in the Municipality of Mornese in the province of Alessandria, on the border with the region of Liguria, along the steep slopes of the hills that you meet between Ovada and Gavi.
