Cantina Sociale S. Giorgio, located in San Giorgio Monferrato (AL) was set up in 1949 by 19 founding members joined by the desire to work together to better address the problems of vinifying and marketing grapes. The joining of new members, in the early years of the wine cellar was so numerous that by 1951 they numbered 250. Today, the wine cellar has eighty members who contribute all the grapes produced and represent an important brand in the regional panorama of quality products. The continuous awards attributed to the coop confirm the right road taken in the selection of grapes collected, showing the strong commitment of Cantina S. Giorgio to the search for quality.
