The origins of the Cerabino "Cavo Valentino" farm dates to the early 20th century. From the beginning, property of the Cavo family, the current manager is wine expert Marco Cavo. He is assisted directly by his family in the various phases of wine production, from harvest to bottling. Over the years, with the purchase of new neighboring lands, the vineyard covered area is now 20
hectares.
The estate is situated in the heart of the Colli Tortonesi, on the first outcrops of the Ossona Valley: the sunlight and the soil favor the production of high quality red or white grapes. The wine is produced using both traditional and technologically advanced systems, as evidenced by the contemporary presence of modern systems for the controlled fermentation of the must and of the small oak casks for ageing the wines. Today, the farm uses only choice grapes, guaranteeing its high quality wines and spumante. The Farm sells directly to the public and is open to visitors by appointment. Wine tasting sessions are also available.
