The Estate is named after the Governor of Moncalvo who founded it in the 17th century and rises at the edges of the natural park of the Shrine of Crea, UNESCO heritage site. Since 2004, the winery has been managed by Sabine Ehrmann. The characteristics of the land, expert care of the vineyards and modern cellar technology achieve high quality grapes and enhance their natural characteristics. Production is concentrated on the native grape varieties of Grignolino and Barbera. The Estate is also the centre of culture and international meetings where numerous events are held to attract art and wine enthusiasts.

Tenuta Tenaglia will host “Osteria in Cantina”
the event dedicated to the Piedmont Merenda Sinoira, which will be revisited by the hands of the superb chef Fabio Villa of Osteria del Vecchio Asilo. In the light of the first spring sunsets, you can enjoy this rich and traditional Monferrato tradition accompanied, glass after glass, by the wines of the estate and the breathtaking view which can be enjoyed from the room which overlooks the vineyards. Places are limited so BOOKING IS COMPULSORY.
